Procedure To Check Car On Lease In Moi Abshir Account
As you know that the procedure to get a car on the lease is very simple in Saudi Arabia. Especially now a day, companies are facing a lot of sales pressure so they want to sell leased cars on easy terms to meet their sales targets.
We have also shared earlier the things you need to do before and after final exit from Saudi Arabia. One of the things we have mentioned in that article is that you need to transfer the leased car from your name to apply for the final exit.
Earlier, it was possible that an expatriate could leave the country on final exit without even transferring the leased car from his name, but it is not possible anymore as now it is registered under your Co-Owned vehicles in the MOI or Abshir account.
In order to get a final exit, you must transfer the car to another person or make a settlement with the bank or car-owner to remove it from your name. Normally banks or whoever the car owner is charges heavily for this settlement.
In order to check if a car has been registered under your name, we have provided this guide for you. You can check the co-owned vehicles only if you have an account with MOI website. If you already have registered yourself with MOI services, you need to login to your account. The procedure to log in to MOI account has been changed a little bit. You can check this link for the updated procedure “Procedure to Login to MOI Account”
Move your cursor to the e-Service tab, a drop down screen will appear from where you will have to select “Traffic” and “Vehicle I am authorized for”. A new page will open and you will find 4 options there.
Active Authorized Vehicles: If you have been added as a second driver to drive a vehicle, you will find all the vehicles you are authorized to drive on this list. I don’t have any vehicle.
All Co-Owned Vehicles: You will find the name of your car on this list if you have a leased car in Saudi Arabia. In order to get a final exit, you need to remove all these cars from your name.
