 We already know that the dependent’s fee is imposed on every iqama holder dependent of an expatriate. Although there are some categories of Expatriates who are exempt from Dependent’s Fee but largely people will have to pay this fee for during their stay in Saudi Arabia. Without paying dependent’s fee, you would not be able to renew your Iqama, apply for Exit Re-Entry Visa or even issue a final exit visa. In the same way, you would not be allowed to apply for Iqama of your newly born child unless dependent’s fee is paid.  First of all, you need to login to your internet banking account. In this guide, we are using internet banking account of Al Rajhi Bank. However, the procedure is same in almost all banks. After logging in to your internet banking account, you need to click on the Payments tab given in the banner above, select “SADAD”. A new page will appear with some other options from where you need to click on “MOI Payments”.
 The next page will appear with so many options and you need to click on “Expatriate Services” to proceed further.[irp]
 
 In the next screen, you need to select “Payment” as “Transaction Type” and “Adding Dependent Born Inside” as Application Type. It should be noted that this option is to be selected only if your dependent is born in Saudi Arabia. In the next step, enter the Iqama number of the sponsor of the family (you are the sponsor of your family if they are your dependents) and also enter the date of birth. After entering these details, proceed further.
 A new window will open containing details of sponsor’s name, Iqama number, dependent’s birth date and the amount of dependent’s fee. If the dependent was born on or before July 01, 2017, the dependent’s fee will be calculated from July 01, 2017 till your Iqama expiry date.
