2018-Jul-18

The total population of Qatar is 2.7 million out of which around 67% are Muslims which translate into around 1.8 million people. After the Qatar Blockade in 2017 when a group of 5,6 countries terminated all relations with Qatar, there has been a confusion among Muslims on how to apply for the Hajj Visa.
Umrah for Qataris and Qatari Expats: We have already explained the procedure to Apply for Umrah Visa from Qatar. A majority of people don’t know this process and as a result are not able to perform Umrah.
Hajj for Qataris: Since the month of Hajj is falling near and Hajj pilgrims from all around the world are planning their trip to Saudi Arabia, Muslims from Qatar are also overwhelmed to perform this religious obligation. Thus the Hajj Ministry of Saudi Arabia made a statement to welcome the Qatari pilgrims this year.
Special Website for Registration: The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said it welcomes the arrival of Qatari pilgrims this year and any Qatari who wish to perform Hajj this year can register themselves through the link on Ministry website, http://qh.haj.gov.sa.
This special link has been provided to Qatari pilgrims because of the lack of cooperation on the part of the office of the affairs of pilgrims in Qatar with the parties concerned in finalizing arrangement for them.

Hence the Qatari Hajj pilgrims can use this link to make arrangements for their accommodations, transportation, and food in two Holy cities, Makkah and Madina.
Qatar Airways is not allowed: The Ministry further announced that the Qatari pilgrims can arrive in Saudi Arabia for performing Hajj through any airlines except Qatar airways and their arrival and departure will take place via King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah.
Besides this, the Saudi Hajj and umrah ministry affirmed that the Saudi government always welcomes pilgrims rims from all around the world and of different nationalities, races, and sects.

13 Demands: Egypt, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, these countries are collectively known as the anti-terror Quartet and insist that Qatar must comply with 13 demands to abstain from supporting and sponsoring terror and stop interfering in other countries internal affairs.
